Sunday Snapshots

We have been busy.  Scratch that, we have been beyond busy.  It is the end of the school year, everything is wrapping up, The Curly Girly Boutique has been time consuming with orders and events, Dad has been working lots of extra hours.  Family time has been in short supply around here.  Sunday Dad surprised us with lunch on the next island over and some play time.
We went to a local place that serves authentic 'drive-in' hamburgers.  They were delicious.  The kids were still a little wound up after church but they dug into the hamburgers with zeal.  After the kids cleared their baskets we headed up to the local park for some fun.

I absolutely adore this picture of D.  He was so excited to be at the park that he didn't know which way to go first.  He kept Dad and I on our toes as we ran after him and the other three.
B, our bubbly little explorer was everywhere.  Playing with the music and running everywhere.
You can just barely make out Dad and D in the tower.  I hadn't quite figured out the zoom on my new camera phone.  Since Dad surprised us with this trip I didn't know I would need my DSLR when we left for church.  But that's okay, the iPhone took some amazing photos.  Plus playing with Instagram is always fun too.
C is always the hardest kid for me to get pictures of lately.  She is always running here and there, busy with something or making new friends.  I practically had to sit on her to get her to stop long enough for me to get a picture.  It turned out cute though.
Just one of the many little playhouses at this park.  The kids loved all of the hiding places.  Mom, not so much.
D was not to be outdone by his older brother and sisters.  He was determined to keep up with them and explore every inch of the park.
This was just such a fun angle that I had to take a picture of A.  He was busy at the park too.
Here is A's favorite toy at this park, the digging tool.  It wasn't as much fun today since the sand was wet and hard to dig in but he gave it his best try.
Thanks to our tire swing in the back yard, D and B are pros at them.  It is one of their favorite things to do together--swing.
What you can't see in this picture is A crying.  He got halfway up the wall, chickened out and got stuck.  He almost made it but refused to go any further.  Dad tried to help him but all he wanted was down.  Maybe next time.
D spun around just so I could take a picture then he took off running again.  What a cutie!!
My little man.  He was busy hiding from C in the playhouse.
So sweet.  B loved all of the fun playhouses and themes that are at this park.  There is a pirate ship, a ferry, a whale and other things to play on there.
Here are Dad and D at the end of our trip to the park, exhausted.  It was such a fun day, I am so glad we made the time in our busy lives to enjoy each other.
