Halloween 2012

Halloween in the Pacific Northwest usually means a cold and damp night of Trick or Treating.  This year was no exception.  It was cold and windy, then the rain came and it just became damp and miserable.  The kids didn't care.  They were so excited to get dressed up and have fun.  They got to go to a Halloween birthday party which was a so much fun!

A wanted to be a cowboy for quite a while and at the last minute we decided to let D be one too.  They looked adorable together.  Both boys enjoyed having matching costumes this year.

C's costume evolved quite a bit this year.  She really wanted to be the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz but the costume didn't fit.  So this is the compromise we came up with--a Glam Witch.  This playful costume fit her vibrant personality so much better.  She had so much fun wearing it.

B of course wanted to be a princess.  So we pulled a costume out of her dress-up bin and she was ready to go.  She was thrilled to be allowed to wear Mom's tiara from her wedding.  It was the perfect touch to her costume.

At the party the kids did a little Trick or Treating even with the chilling winds and rain.  They got just enough candy, not too much to make me crazy but just enough for it to be a successful hunt.
